HOW TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE WHO TAKE YOUR KINDNESS FOR GRANTED

 By Matata Mercy

Recently a friend of mine was complaining to me that there are people in his life that are taking his kindness for granted.

And i agree with him simply  iam also a victim.

Imagine giving your hard earned money to someone who claims to be having financial problems.

Apparently, his child is sick and he doesnot have any coin in his pocket or he urgently wants to pay his rent since the landlord is on his neck.

This person will promise to pay you as soon as he gets the next salary.

But as soon as he gets that salary, his phone is off.

He is no where to be seen. He disappears in thin air.

Today i would like to share with you some tips on how to deal with people who borrow money and refuse pay.

1.Set up a meeting

The first thing you can do to help get your money back is to set up a meeting with the person who is failing to pay your money.

You can agree with this person on the installments that he can pay  inorder to clear the bill.

2.Set up a deadline for payment.

You will need to put up a deadline for paying up the money that you agree on.

When can that money be paid fully?

An agreement should be reached so that it is clearly known when payment will be made.

3.Agree on the property that can be sold.

If it is true that this person doesnot have the money to pay up, what properties does this person have that can be sold to recover the money.

If there is no property to be sold, then may be you should just accept the loss.

In conclusion, i will share with you a few tips on how to avoid losing money next time.

The first tip is that never give out money that you are not willing to lose.

You should only give out money that you are willing to lose.

You can also decide to give someone less money than he asked for.

I hope these tips help you deal with people who borrow money and fail to pay. Good luck.
