Cedric Babu is a Ugandan film actor, television host and politician who is popularly known for being the host of the television show called Cedric Live show that airs on Uganda Broadcasting Corporation television commonly known as UBC television.
During the Cedric Live show, he hosts guests whom he features on his show and interveiws them about various topics out there.
In the year 2020, Cedric Babu contested for the mayoral seat and participated in the NRM primaries for choosing the candidate for the National Resistance Party alongside the likes of Salim Uhuru and Godfrey Nyakana among others.
Cedric Babu lost the elections to Salim Uhuru who became the NRM flag bearer.
Cedric Babu is the son of Francis Babu who is a former pilot and captain and also a prominent NRM supporter and politician. Cedric Babu is married to DJ Karo.
