MARKETS AND ARCADES COULD BE CLOSED AGAIN AS COVID-19 CASES RISE DRAMATICALLY


As the number of Corona virus cases rise dramatically across the country, the Ugandan government could be forced to impose another lockdown very soon.

Arcades, Markets risk closure for ignoring COVID-19 guidelines

This comes after tests were carried out and the number of cases of Corona virus infections have increased to around 300 cases per day on some occassions.

The population has been warned on a possible lockdown if they do not obey the Standard operating Procedures and also wear facemasks and wash their hands regularly.

Hon. Betty Amongi who is the Minister of Kampala said that Kampala is the sitting room for Uganda and it has become the hotspot for COVID-19.
