Do you believe that learning only takes place in a classroom? To most people out there when you talk about learning or education what comes to their mind is a blackboard or whiteboard and a teacher or professor.
But is it actually true that learning only takes place between fourwalls and a blackboard or you can also learn out of the classroom?
I do strongly believe that learning can take place outside the classroom and i also strongly believe that the learning that takes place outside the classroom is the most vivid and the one that will have alot of impact on most of our lives.
The society that we live in has conditioned us to believe that learning only takes place in a school setting most likely the classroom.
But if you can just pay close attention to your own life, you discover that you did alot of learning out of the classroom and no teacher or professor was actually there to guide you in the beginning.
Just have a look at how you were able to learn to walk when you were still a toddler, you learnt by doing and started off by crawling about on the floor and then slowly you stretched yourself out and took the first step.
From there you learnt by falling down and then getting up to try again, over and over again until to mastered the art of walking.
How did you learn to speak your native language?
Or your first language when you were i bet just two years old or three years old, you just listened to what people around you were saying and started speaking the language until you were able to master it fully.
What if you could apply this mode of learning that you actively used while a baby to your life today, how much could you accomplish in your life time?
If you were willing to actively learn by teaching yourself, there is no limit to what you could learn and do. In this modern digital age, you could from resources like Youtube and many other tutorials out there.
It is just within your power to choose what to learn. What are you willing to learn?
That is up to you. All i can tell you is to drop the old societal assumptions that learning takes place only in a classroom, become a life long learner and chase your goals actively.
I have seen so many self-taught software developers,graphic designers, fashion designers, music producers, writers, instrumentalists who have conquered the world.
You can do it, you do not need a teacher or professor before you, all you need is your intuition and passion.
