KENYAN SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND STUDENTS WILL REPEAT A YEAR AS A RESULT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC


The Kenyan government has declared this academic year null and void as a result of the Corona virus pandemic.

 Kenyan schools told to refund 2020 school fees due to COVID-19 pandemic

This comes after the Kenyan government ordered to schools to either refund the school fees paid by parents or just transfer it to next year. 

This is after the country confirmed 8000 cases and around 164 deaths from the pandemic.

The Kenyan minsiter of Education George  Magoha announced that all students would repeat the year and this academic year is null and void.
