BIOGRAPHY OF MARYAM SALEH, THE EGYPTIAN SINGER


Maryam Saleh Saad who is popularly known as Maryam Saleh is an Egyptian music artist, singer, songwriter an also actress.

She was born in the year 1986 in Cairo which is the capital city of Egypt. Maryam's father was a theater director  and also a stage writer.

 Her father passed away in the year 2005. She was influenced seriously by one of her father's friends who is called Sheikh Imam who actually had some great influence on herself.

During her career as an actress which was able to appear several plays like Lessons in Revolution which was written by Laila Soliman, and many other short films like A shams back in the year 2008 where she was able to sing the tittle song.

In the year 2008, she decided to start her own band which she called Jawaz Safar where she used only two instruments Tabl and Oud.

She later started another band called Barak band in the same year and they released  Sheikh Imam's songs like Nixon Baba,  Why does the sea laugh and it was later sang by her sister Nagham Saleh.

 In the year 2010, she started working with a musician from Lebanon who is called Zeid Hamdam and the music was called trip-hop.

In the year 2011, Maryam decided to appear in a short film which is called A Tin Tale where she acted as a prostitute who was called Mona Farkha and it was screened as part of the Dubai International Film festival.

Maryam Saleh is an inspiration to all the youths out there most especially the girls who are planning to join the music and movie industry.
