BIOGRAPHY: INSPIRING STORY OF DADDY ANDRE, MUSIC PRODUCER AND ARTIST


 Andrew Ojambo who is popularly known as Daddy Andre is a Ugandan music producer, singer and songwriter who is one of the best music producers in the country and has now also ventured into singing as a career.

Daddy  Andre was born in the Eastern part of Uganda back in the early 1980s.

 His mother died when he was just six years old  and his father later died when he was 13 years old and left as an orphan.

 Since his father had saved some money with NSSF and therefore this money was used to help pay his school fees alongside his siblings.

 Daddy Andre has said that he was very good at school but he always hated school.

 After completing his primary school education, he joined Modern Secondary School where he completed his ordinary level of education and later proceeded to Old Kampala Secondary School where he completed his secondary school education. 

Daddy Andre confessed that he was not a very good fan of schooling and that the only positive outcome that  he got out of school is that he learnt how to speak good English.

 While he was still in  primary school, several times his teachers would find him writing songs in class.

Daddy Andre said that he started singing before even he knew anything about music production.

 He said that he got vocal training from Ugandan singer Daddy Andre since they both grew up together and he learnt more about vocals from him.

He said that he got the name Daddy Andre from his friends who called him Daddy since he helped them alot in their music industry and one of those friends is Ugandan singer Beenie Gunter. 

His advice to other youths out there is for them to turn their challenges into good things. According to Daddy Andre, he has not actually achieved anything based on the goals that he has been able to set for himself.

Daddy Andre is not married but he has a daughter from a previous relationship.

Daddy Andre is an inspiration to all the youths out there who would like to join the entertainment industry most especially the music industry.
