FOOTBALL LEGEND DIDIER DROGBA HAS OFFERED HIS HOSPITAL IN IVORYCOAST TO BE USED FOR THE TREATMENT OF CORONA VIRUS PATIENTS IN HIS COUNTRY


Popular football star and former Chelsea football star Didier Drogba has come to the rescue of his people in Ivory Coast by offering his hospital as a treatment centre for the Corona virus patients in his country.

The hospital which is actually based in the Ivory Coast city of Abdijan started operating back in the year 2016 and has been named after the former football legend for Ivory Coast called Laurent Pokou.

The head of the regionalcouncil for Abdijan thanked Didier Drogba for the gift he offered them. Didier Drogba played football for Le Mans, Marseille and also for Chelsea Football club where he went for a record transfer of 24 million pounds.

 He won the Premier League four times with Chelsea and also a Champions League trophy while at Chelsea Football club.
