MICROSOFT FOUNDER BILL GATES HAS STEPPED DOWN FROM THE BOARD OF THE COMPANY TO FOCUS HIS ENERGIES ON PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES

The founder of Microsoft and the second richest man in the world called Bill Gates has decided to stp down from the board of Microsoft to focus  his energies on philanthropy.



Bill Gates founded the company alongside his friend Paul Allen back in the year 1975 and has seen the company grow rapidly for the last 30 years.

 He served as the Chief executive of the company until the year 2000 before handing over the mantle to his friend Steve Balmer.

He will now be focusing his energies on global health, education and also climate change fight. Gates added he would continue to engage with the leadership of the company  and it will always be a  apart of his life's work.
