The long awaited plane that will be used for the spray of the locusts that have invaded the Ugandan districts has finally arrived and landed in Moroto district.
The Ugandan response team that is responsible for the fight against locusts recieved the airplane from the Desert Locust control organisation for East Africa that help it to fight the swarm of desert locusts.
According to Mr. Magara, the airplane will now be used for aerial spray of the desert locusts and also for surveillance of the areas affected by the swarm of desert locusts.
