HOW TO PREPARE LEFTOVER RICE CUTLETS

Crunching on leftover rice cutlets is one of the most delicious meals that you can have for breakfast. You could prepare this meal for guests who show up an announced.

You can spice it up with some vegetables of your choice this could be cabbages, put leftover rice and mashed potatoes to the mix.

Ingredients needed

- 2 cups of cooked rice

-2 cups of mashed potatoes

- A tablespoon of cumin powder

-A cup of boiled peas

- 3 cloves of chopped garlic

- A cup of chopped coriander leaves

- Black pepper that has been freshly ground

-1 beaten egg

- 5 tablespoons of frying oil

- 2 cups of bread crumbs and 3 tablespoons of oil for rolling the cutlets

Procedure

1. Put all the ingredients into a bowl except the 3 tablespoons of bread crumbs that will be used for rolling the cutlets. Mix the ingredients altogether until they are incorporated.

2. Put 2 tablespoons of the mixture into your palms and then roll it into a ball. Try to press it down lightly so that it will form the shape of a cutlet.

3. Roll each cutlet lightly in the 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and then fry it shallowly for about 1 to 2 minuteson each side.

4. Finally, serve the cutlet with your favourite dip or dish.
