Laura Kahunde is a Ugandan movie actress who appeared on the Ugandan television series called Second Chance where she played as Angela and she has also starred in movies that have been directed by Ugandan actress, movie director and singer Mariam Ndagire.
Some of these movies are Hearts in Pieces, Where we belong and Dear Mum.Laura Kahunde was born in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.
Her father is called Gerald and the mother is called Catherine Manyindo. She is the last born of her parents. Laura Kahunde is the sister of popular Ugandan singer and actress Juliana Kanyomozi.
Laura Kahunde and her sister both featured in a movie called bullion which was directed by Henry Ssali. Laura Kahunde is also related to the reigning King of Toro Kingdom who is called King Oyo or the Omukama of Toro Kingdom which is found in the western region of Uganda.
Laura Kahunde started her acting career back in the year 2008 after meeting one of Uganda's pioneers of the movie industry in the country called Mariam Ndagire.
Since then she has starred in several movies. Laura Kahunde also appeared in a movie that was directed by Usama Mukwaya which is tittled Love Faces with Moses Kiboneka Junior and others.
In the year 2011, she won the award of best actress at the MNFPAC students awards for her role in the movie called Hello which was again directed by Usama Mukwaya.
Laura Kahunde is an inspiration to all girls and youths out there who are planning to join the movie industry as a result of her passion and hardwork.
