Great works are always fueled by passion and the strong desire to accomplish something not the prize.
Do you know the real reason why most people are working hard each and everyday?
One of the top reasons why very many are showing up at work each and everyday is simply because they want to earn an income, literally make some money and nothing else.
Some people have even gone out to do work that they do not like simply because they need to earn that income and others have ended up getting stuck in there till retirement without even realizing it.
Working for the prize is not a bad thing but most importantly you should be focusing on doing work that you are proud of doing and are also very passionate about.
You should be able to do that work whether there is a prize or not, that simply shows that you do value that work that you are doing and are very passionate about it.
When you ar very passionate about your work, it will most likely show and in the long run you will be able to get that prize that you have always desired to have.
Doing good work that you are proud is far more important than the reward that comes with it.
On the other side of things, if you focus your attention on the prize and they remove the prize away from the equation, i do not think you will still be available for work.
Do good work filled with a lot of passion and one day you will have the prize in your hands.
