Rosary Robert who is popularly known as Rosa Ree is a Tanzanian female music artist, singer, rapper and songwriter who has risen up as one of the top female music rappers in Tanzania and East Africa. Rosa Ree was born in a place called Moshi which is found in Kilimanjaro.
Although she was born in Tanzania, Rosa Ree had her education in the neighbouring country called Kenya.
Rosa Ree kicked off her music career in the year 2015 when she was signed up by a recording label called The Industr studios which is a label that is being headed by Tanzanian music producer and rapper called Nahreel.
While there she recorded some songs that were written by her and they became hit songs. After spending three years at The Industry studios, she was signed up by another record label in South Africa called Dimo Entertainment.
Since launching her music career, Rosa Ree has been able to collaborate with several other music artists in East Africa and among these are Khaligraph Jones with whom they did the song called Emtee.
At the beginning of the year 2019, she worked with Kenyan rapper called Timmy Tdat and they produced the song called Kipopo and as a result it was rumoured that the two were in a love relationship which were actually false rumours.
Rosa Ree is one of the few female music artists who have dared to venture into the music genre that is considered to be ruled by the males called rap music.
In an interveiw that she had in the year 2018 with Music in Africa, she said that she is trying to accomplish something with her music where by send a message that a game that can be played by males can also be played by females.
Rosa Ree has said that her music has been influenced by female music artists from the United Kingdom and hence giving her the diversity that she does have in her music works.
Rosa Ree is an inspiration to all the upcoming female music artists and young girls planning to join the entertainment industry in Tanzania and also East Africa as a whole region.
