Here are the steps that you should follow to prepare a very good fluffy rice
1. Start by boiling water and then add salt to the water
After you have been able to light up the stove that you are going to use to cook the rice, you can now pour water into the saucepan for every cup of rice into a large saucepan, ensure that you pour two cups of water into the Saucepan with a tight lid.
Boil the water and then add one teaspoon of salt into the water.
2. Add rice into the boiling water
Now that the water has now boiled, you can now add rice to the boiling water so that it can start cooking.
3. Stir enough so that the rice can be separated
You can now use the wooden spoon to stir the rice so that any clumps can be separated and ensure that you do not over stir simply because over stiring will make the rice stick together.
4. Cover the pot so that the rice can now be able to simmer
When you are covering the pot, you should make sure that the lid fits very well and now you can turn down the heat to it's lowest level and then you should now let the rice simmer for about 18 minutes, remove it from the heat and then allow it to steam for about 5 minutes.
5. Fluff the rice with fork properly
Now that the rice is ready, before you can be able to serve,you should now fluff the rice with fork so that you can be able to separate the grains.
You can now enjoy your ice with some little chilli sauce added to it. You can now enjoy the rice the way you like it.
