Police have managed to block and stop a rally that was to be organised by Forum for Democratci Change party officials in Hoima district in the place called Boma Grounds.
According to reports, the president of FDC party Patrick Amuriat and the party's secretary for mobilisation, Ingrid Turinawe were in the district to chair a regional meeting that would involve FDC officials in Bunyoro sub-region.
The meeting was to take place at Tik Hotel in Hoima district. As the meeting commenced the hotel was raided by the police who dispersed the FDC officials. In the same evening, police blocked Patrick Amuriat from appearing on a radio station in the district.
