Ugandan singer and politician, Kyagulanyi Sentaamu has finally been granted bail by the Buganda road court.
The Kyadondo East member of Parliament who was arrested on tuesday and presented to court this morning has been granted bail and some of the people who stood as sureties for him are Former Minister of Ethics and integrity Miria Matembe, Kasanda North Member of Parliament who is called Patrick Nsamba among others.
According to the Buganda Road court Grade one Magistrate, Ms Esther Nahirya,Kyagulanyi Sentamu is to pay 1 million shillings as one of the bail conditions.
His sureties were told to present a sum of 10 million shillings each as a non cash bond.
The court that has done through video conferencing stopped him from holding demonstrations since this would lead to his bail being cancelled.
