If you want to become successful, you will need to develop habits that can be used as the buses to drive you towards your destination of success.

There is also another challenge that we do face when we want to grow the positive habits in our lives and that is staying true to ourselves  your while building those positive habits.

I discovered that there are two ways in which you can actually be able to develop those positive habits that can take you towards the success that you desire.

1. One way of building positive habits is called Filling

When you are building positive habits, you should imagine the act of filling as the progress bar or simply building experience and so that you can be able to fill up the bar from zero to the ultimate 745. In this game you gain experience by slowing doing the things that you are supposed to do.

In real life you will do this by building up habits as you slowly change your day to day operations.

For example simply going toe gym once will not bring any change to your body or even make you healthy.  This is just an experience in your experience bar.

But if you can go to the gym about 120 times in year  which is about three times in a week, you eventually become fit.

This is the same thing that happens when you involve yourself in running, reading books and even writing. It is all about incrementally being able to change the way you run your daily activities and you can do that by simply changing your habits.

You can do this by reading 10 pages of a book  per day or writing atleast 500 words  per day, going to the gym three times in a week and also starting your own business.

When you have managed to fill your experience bar to 745/745,  that doesnot actually mean that you will automatically be able to hit the next level.

You will actually need something else to be able to hit the next level and that is what is called leaping.

According to  Jim Rohn, motivation is  what gets you started and then habit is what will keep you going. I absolutely  believe in what he said.

2. Another way of building positive habits is called leaping

If you have succesfully gone through the filling phase, it is now time for you to move to the next step and this process that you are going to under go is called leaping.

This kind of growth is very rare and it will only activate itself when you have been able to fill up the experience bar and you are ready to get to the next level.

During the leaping phase what happens here is that when your experience bar has been filled up, your body and mind will now unlock a special mode insights where by just with a single spark or glitch, you will be able to experience something that people from the east used to call the satori moments.

Satori moments are moments where you  develop deep insight  about everything, at this point time stops for you and  then all of sudden you have clarity of mind , thought and even action .

At this point everything in your life will make  complete sense  and if they do not make sense, you will look at these things as something which is foolish that you can actually  easily throw away.

One earthly example of this is when a person stops the habit of smoking after seeing the lungs of a hardcore smoker.

They are able to do this instantly simply because the strength of the moment changed them completely. Their old self died and gave way to the new self.

This is how you can get to the next level. After that moment has passed away, you can take away all that you want from it and then get back to filling process.

Here you will now need to analyse and determine what experience bar you need  simply because what got here will not get you to the next level.

According to Aristotle, We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act but a habit.

So therefore in order to grow we need both perspectives of the eagle  that sees the forest and the worm whose perspective is about the day to day operations, growth requires both  and it will come only in circles.

Which method of growth would you like to apply to your life?
