There was chaos in Jinja district headquarters when the councillors engaged in a fist fight on Thursday after they disagreed upon where the district headquarters should be located.
Some of the councillors suggested that the headquarters should be transfered from Kagoma County to Bwenge subcounty and this angered others.
As the situation went out of hand, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) was forced to flee the premises and left the councillors exchanging bitter words and throwing punches as police swung into action to rescue the situation.
