Stella Dimoko Korkus is a Nigerian female blogger who runs a popular Nigerian blog called Stella Dimoko Korkus which is commonly known as SDK by the blog readers.
SDK blog is one of the unique blogs that is owned by one of Nigeria’s top bloggers. Stella Dimoko Korkus was born in Lagos in Nigeria on the 22nd of August.
Stella Dimoko Korkus received her primary school and secondary school education in schools that were based in Lagos. After completing her secondary school education, Stella Dimoko Korkus went to Benin where she attended University.
During her time at the University of Benin, Stella Dimoko Korkus studied Linguistics with English as a reference. Stella Dimoko Korkus completed the course and she was able to graduate with third class degree in Linguistics.
According to Stella Dimoko Korkus, her dream after completing school was not work in the bank but unfortunately this dream did not work out for her.
After failing to achieve her dream, Stella Dimoko was frustrated and also sad and now what she had to do was to accept whatever came into her hands at that time. This was the time when she got the chance to start writing news.
Stella Dimoko Korkus started her career as a writer for a magazine called Hints and then she went on to write for another magazine called Encomium.
Stella Dimoko started her career as a print journalist and then she decided to venture into online publishing and that was the time when she started her first blog that did not go very far. She later started another blog and she is now currently running.
She later made up her mind to leave her day job so that she could focus all her attention on the blog after it gained some good traffic stats. In 2004, Stella Dimoko Korkus moved to Germany after getting married to her husband who is called Stefan Korkus. While in Germany, she continued to run her blog.
Currently, Stella Dimoko Korkus is one of the biggest bloggers in the blogging business in Nigeria. Although she has said that she does not find it easy to run her blog from Germany but she said that she is very passionate about blogging and therefore she loves what she is doing.
Over the years, Stella Dimoko has become one of the most dreaded and most feared bloggers in Nigeria due to the celebrity gossip posts that dominate her blog.
As a result of her excellent blogging skills, Stella Dimoko has been honoured with the Nigerian Entrepreneurs Award for the online blog of the year.

According to Stella Dimoko her typical day begins at 5:00 am and she got used to waking up at this time when she was still nursing her first child who used to cry a lot.
She has said that this pattern has helped her in her blogging career as she is able to wake up early and start blogging.
She has said that her passion for writing began when she was still in school whereby she would write stickers to her friends with whom they had a quarrel.
Stella Dimoko Korkus was able to land her first job as a print journalist after she saw an advert where the magazine was looking for writers to fill up some vacancies.
Her friend called the Magazine and an appointment for the interview was set and she went through and got the job.
Stella Dimoko has revealed that she was a victim sexual exploitation while she was still a student at University and at that time she could not do anything about that situation that she did find herself in. Stella Dimoko has revealed that she is happy that she was not given a pass degree.
The controversial name that she has got comes from the fact that she is a very confrontational person and loves challenges and will always pick up those challenges and try to overcome them.
Stella Dimoko Korkus fought so many battles while she was working as a print journalist as these battles prepared her for her career as a blogger and she has said that there are more battles that she has fought while blogging than when she was still a print journalist.
Stella Dimoko is married to Stephen Korkus and the couple got married in 2003. Her husband has been helping her with her blogging career especially with sourcing for interesting articles for her blog whenever he is free.
