SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT REBECCA KADAGA HAS SAID THAT THE SACKED MAKERERE LECTURERS WILL HAVE A FAIR HEARING

Following the sacking of the 45 staff members from Makerere University, some of the University officials decided to take their grieviences to the Ugandan parliament. 

On Friday the representatives of the sacked staff petitioned the speaker of parliament to look into the matter urgently. 

According to reports, the lecturers were sacked as a result of negligence and absence on duty.
