JACOB ZUMA HAS BEEN FORCED BY A SOUTH AFRICAN COURT TO REFUND OVER $1MILLION BACK TO THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT
There was
chaos in court when a South African judge ordered the former South African
President Jacob Zuma to refund about $ 1million back to the South African government.
According to
reports, the state paid the amount of money to him as legal costs.
This follows
the numerous corruption allegations that the former South African leader has
been facing.
The new president Cyril Ramaphosa has been trying to restore
confidence among the public in the prosecution and courts of law. Zuma faces
about 16 charges of corruption, fraud and also money laundering.
