BIOGRAPHY: INSPIRING STORY OF JOHN BLAQ

John Blaq is a Ugandan music artist, singer, songwriter, hiphop and also an afrobeat artist who has become popular for the songs like Tukwatagane and also Sweet Love which were released in the middle of 2018.  

He is a fast rising music artist who seems to have a bright future in the Ugandan music industry. John Blaq was born Eastern region of Uganda in a district called Jinja district in the year of 1996.

 He moved to Kampala when he was still young and he spent most of his childhood 

years living with his aunt. John Blaq grew up in a place called Bweyogerere which is found in the capital city of Uganda called Kampala. 

While living with his aunt John Blaq went through a lot of trial times and there were times when he used to sleep hungry and at times he did not have money for his fees but all these setbacks did not put him down and instead they inspired and empowered him to work hard on one thing that he loved most and was passionate about and that is music. 

During his secondary school days, John Blaq developed a strong passion for music and most specifically hiphop and rap music. At school, they used to organise hiphop battles where very many students would battle it out to find out the best hiphop artist among the students.

 In all these competitive hiphop battles, John Blaq emerged as the best and as a result of this he developed enough confidence to pursue a career in music alongside his friends.

 John Blaq worked on his first song with one of Uganda’s top music producers who is called Andy Music. 

The song that he worked on was called More Fire and the song was recorded in the studio called Buddies studio. 

This song became a hit and went viral and hence it sold John Blaq to the Ugandan music lovers who did not know about his existence in the music industry. 

After his massive success from this song, John Blaq released another song called Tukwatagane which cemented his stay in the Ugandan music industry as the song was played in all the happening places around Uganda. 

He has since released a number of other songs among which are Sweet love and many others.  

John Blaq is a very good example to the Ugandan youths who would like to become very successful in life and especially those who are very passionate about the entertainment industry and the music industry specifically. 

John Blaq has said that his mission is to change the world and also give hope to  the people around  him through his music. He continues to inspire and entertain Ugandan music lovers with his tunes.
