HOW TO USE GOOGLE PHOTOS TO BACK UP YOUR PHOTOS, VIDEOS THAT ARE ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE OR TABLET


Backing up your information is a very good idea so that when your hard drive crashes, you will at least have some where to go to in order to help you retrieve all that information that you had lost.


 You can use Google photos to help you keep your photos and other content safe and only visible to you and therefore it remains private. 

Today, I will give you some of the steps on how you can back up those precious photos and videos using Google photos.

Here are the steps that you will need to follow in order to back up those photos and videos using Google photos:-

1. Start by signing into your Google account.

2. Now, open the photos app that is found on your Android Smartphone or the tablet device.

3. You should now open the menu in the top most left corner and this icon appears with three horizontal lines.

4. You should now go to settings and click on the ‘Backup and sync’ to switch it on if it had been switched off.

If you want to check if your photos have been backed up, you will need to click on photos, sign in and then click on photos again.


The available storage space that can be provided is 15GB and if you have used up that space, then you will have to buy more storage space ranging from 100 GB to 1 TB a and the prices vary from $130  per month to $650 per month depending on the amount of storage space that you want to have.
