THOMAS EDISON FROM FAILING IN SCHOOL TO BECOMING AN INVENTOR, IT IS POSSIBLE TO SUCCEED IN LIFE WITHOUT MUCH EDUCATION
Thomas Edison who is one of the great geniuses and inventors of our time
was called Addled by one of his first teachers and the word “Addled” actually
means that he was mixed up or confused.
And as a result of this early set back
he never finished school and instead he decided to become an inventor and an
entrepreneur.
Thomas Edison is the founder of the company called General
Electric which has created very many products that have changed the world.
Some
of the projects that his company has worked on were the phonograph, the motion
picture camera and the popular electric light bulb. What lesson do we learn
from the story of this great entrepreneur and inventor?
We do learn that if you do fail in school, it
does not mean that you will actually fail in life. People are gifted
differently.
While some people may thrive in the academics, others may be good
in music, art, drama and others might just be good and creating and building
new things like Thomas Edison was.
If
you have failed in school do not lose heart, it’s just a piece of paper and
there is more to like than just a piece of paper.
You can still succeed and
become what you actually dreamt of becoming in life. in simple terms, the
measurement of success through exams doesnot work for everyone and may not work
for everybody , there are people who are good at things that cannot actually be
examined.
You can become a great artist, a great music artist, a great
entrepreneur and many other things without having that piece of paper. Keep working hard and you will actually get
there.
