BIOGRAPHY AND INSPIRING LIFE OF INI EDO

Iniekim Edo who is popularly known as Ini Edo is a Nigerian actress who has featured in very many Nigerian movies and played different roles in the movies. Ini Edo was born in Cross River State at a place called Calabar on 19^th April 1982. 

Ini Edo was born into a family of six children. Ini Edo had her secondary school education at Cornellia Connely College which is found in Calabar. 

After completing her secondary school education, she joined the University of  Uyo which is found in  Akwa Ibom where she pursued a diploma in Theatre Arts.  

After completing her diploma studies, she joined the University of Calabar in Cross River State where she obtained a degree in English. 

Ini Edo started her acting career when she decided to go with a group of friends to an audition and at the time, the students at her school had gone on strike and therefore she decided alongside with other friends to check out the auditions that were going on for the role in film called Child of Destiny. 

She was able to land a role in the film. But her real breakthrough came when she acted in a movie called World Apart that was actually released in 2004. 

After acting in that movie her acting career has grown each and every year and she has gone on to act in over 100 films. Some of the movies that she acted in are “Games women play, Games Men play and many others. 

Due to her good acting skills she was able to land an ambassadorial role with Globacom which is telecommunications company in Nigeria commonly known as Glo.

 Ini Edo recently landed an endorsement deal with a juice manufacturing called Chivita and she will be the Face of Chivita. 

Ini Edo was recently appointed as the special assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on culture and Tourism and that was in 2016 by a man called  Udom Gabriel Emmanuel in 2016. 

In 2008, Ini Edo  was married to American based Nigerian businessman who is called Phillip Ehagwina but their marriage ended after six years. 

Ini Edo decided to walk out of the marriage after accusations of cheating and domestic violence emerged.

Ini Edo bought a house in Lekki which was said to have cost over seventy million naira  back 2014.

 The gorgeous actress has about three luxury cars and some of these cars are  New Mercedes G-Wagon, Range Rover SUV and also the BMWX5. On instagram  Ini Edo has over 3 millon followers and fans.
