Former Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has received the highest honor in
Liberia after being decorated by Liberian president George Weah.
Arsene Wenger was awarded the honor for his
services that he rendered to African football as he has helped many African
players to get the chance to play in the Premier League.
Wenger was named as
the Knight Grand High Commander of the Humane Order of African
Redemption which is actually he highest rank in Liberia’s order of
distinction.
Arsene Wenger helped George Weah from his club in Liberia to
Monaco in France from where he was able to play for other clubs like AC Milan,
Paris St. Germain, and even Chelsea.
