GUNS THAT WERE STOLEN HAVE BEEN FOUND IN KISORO



The Ugandan police has recovered some guns that were stolen in Kisoro district.

 According to the police spokesperson of the Kigezi region, the police has recovered two guns from Kisoro municipality and one of the guns was found in an incomplete building in a village called Nyamwirima. 

Stolen Guns Recovered in Kisoro
The gun which was a rifle was alleged to have been robbed from Clever Habomugisha who is a private security guard who is attached to the RPS security company limited the previous month. Police has arrested a few people in connection to the illegal possession of guns and stealing of the guns among these were Dan Munyambabazi, Ronald Lwanga, Bright Kwizera among others. 

According to some of the residents, the rifle was found to have been covered by stones in the building. The second gun was found in a village called Nyamushungwa which is found in Nyarusuza sub county in Kisoro district.

 The gun was discovered to have three ammunitions. According to the spokesperson called Mate, the guns were recovered before they could do any harm to people in the area.  

There have been about 17 guns that have been recovered in Kisoro district since the beginning of the year.
