Popular technology company Sony has bought a major controlling stake in
the music publishing platform called EMI as the company plans to move out of
the hardware business and go more into entertainment and gaming business.
The
company that has in the past been focusing more on hardware business by making
products like cameras and other electronic devices has of late decided to
venture more into the entertainment business.
The company has bought the stake
for about 2.3 billion dollars.
