PAY TV OPERATORS ATTACK UCC OVER LINCENSE REGIME



The pay TV operators in Uganda has ganged against Uganda communication commission for raising the lincensing fees to exhorbitant figures.

 The companies that have appealed to UCC to work on the directives are  Multichoice Uganda Limited,  GOTV, Azam, and others. 

According to Uganda Communication commission Zuku television and Kwese have defied the rules and regulations that were set up by the commission about the lincensing fees.

 UCC has come out to send a warning to these broadcasters to start following the rules or else their services will be terminated.

 The commission has raised lincensing fees from 220,000,000 to 550,000,000 every year.
