According to a former Forbes reporter, Donald Trump lied to him about his net worth so that he could be listed among the Forbes 400 richest people in the world.

 According to the reporter Mr. Trump pretended to be an executive who was working at Trump organisation and then told him about the wealth of Donald Trump. 

While Jonathan Greenberg who was a reporter at Forbes at the time was being interviewed about the incident by CNN he said that Trump lied about his wealth and still kept his composure during the lie. It was actually a fake it until to get case.
