FORMER FRENCH PRESIDENT ARRESTED FOR RECEIVING 50 MILLION EUROS FROM GADAFFI



The former president of French Nicholas Sarkozy has been arrested for receiving money from the former Libyan president Muamar Gadaffi to help fund his presidential campaigns of the year 2007. 

Ex- French President, Nicolas Sarkozy arrested for receiving €50 million from Libya

The former president was arrested  on Tuesday and taken to custody for questioning over the allegations that he obtained funds from Libya in 2007 to help run his campaign.
