AGE LIMIT PETITION FEVER HITS UP IN UGANDAN COURTS

In the recent weeks, the agelimit fever has been high and therefore as a result the deputy chief Justice Alphonso Owiny –Dollo has appointed a group of Judges that will be presiding over this complicated task called agelimit during the hearings. 


The deputy chief Justice named a panel of 5 who are going to preside over the petition. According to the deputy chief justice, six petitions have been filed by six opposition MPs, Civil Society and other stakeholders like Mabirizi, Male and Abed Bwanika. 

The deputy chief justice then announced that the venue for the hearing has been transferred to Mbale district though Erias Lukwag who represents some of the petitioners said that the venues are very far.
