The committee
of lands that is being led by Justice Bamugemereire has this afternoon grilled
businessman Ntaganda and Sudhir Ruperelia over the allegations of plans to sell
off the Nakasero Primary school piece of land which has been used as a play
ground by the school.
According to the
former Headmaster of the primary school, the school administrators received a
letter from the then minister for Kampala Frank Tumwebaze ordering the school
to hand over the said land to property developers among which these were Sudhir
Ruperelia and Ntaganda.
Sudhir listened attentively as the committee grilled
his counterpart asking him why they planned to take over the land and he
defended himself by saying that he was not aware that the said land actually
belonged to the school.
