According to
the newly elected Vice chancellor professor Barnabas Nawangwe, the oldest
University in Uganda is set to implement the sexual harassment policy that was
drafted in the year 2006.
The University Vice chancellor said that he is committed
to stamping out the vice to clear up the name of the University.
The university
has put up several measures such as making the accused to apologise publicly so
that he or she can be shamed, suspension, compensation.
The policy was last implemented in 2008 but the victim was not satisfied
with the outcomes of the court though
the accused was expelled from the University.
