Music artist
and rapper Kanyewest and Solange Knowles the sister to Beyonce have been sued
for ripping off songs from another artist’s album.
According to gossip blog TMZ
the lawsuit was filed by an artist called Leroy Mitchelle who claims the two
artists ripped off songs from a 1970’s track called “ If we can’t be lovers”.
The artist claims one of Solange’s songs and KanyeWest’s song “ Every thing Iam”
has some verses sampling his songs.
The lawsuit asks the artists to stop
performing the songs and also playing them on media outlets.
