A court in Belgium has ordered the social
networking giant Facebook to stop tracking the users of internet found in
Belgium.
This comes amidst claims of lack of privacy in the cyberspace as a
result of the giant tech companies that are collecting data about different users
around the world.
According to the court
ruling, failure to obey the instructions given by court will cost the social
media giant a fine of 250,000 euros a day.
The court has based it’s rulings on
allegations that Facebook is using cookies and pixels to track devices of the
internet users.
