She was born on 25th July 1991 to Peter and Odette Rwibasira who are her parents.

Fille Mutoni who comes from the Western Part of Uganda has origins from Kabale district.

She had her primary education at Nakasero Primary School and studied at Lubiri Secondary School and Standard High School for her secondary school studies.

She later proceeded to St. Lawrence University where she studied Public Administration.

After completing her university studies Fille decided to concentrate on Music as a career.

She initially ventured into the music industry as a young girl who was singing at church in the church’s choir during that time she was still a student and would sing on Sundays at church.

Immediately after completing University she decided to join the mainstream music business.

She first came into the Ugandan music scene in 2013 when she released her first hit song called where have you been at and started gaining popularity.

She has released hit songs like Mbeera Eno, Jaribu, and others. She is signed to one of Uganda’s record labels called Andy Events. Her music is mainly about love and touches the souls of people who listen to them.

She is married now to her boyfriend MCKats one of the popular MCs and Television presenters in Uganda who is now currently working with NBS television where he hosts a show called the After5 show.

Her boyfriend also acts her manager hence running her music business and I think this is a good combination simply because he works with the media and therefore her music will get numerous airplays.

Fille and MCKats have a baby together. She collaborated with many other music artists on music projects among these are Radio and Weasel who are the popular Ugandan music duo and also Bruce Melody from Rwanda.

FilleMutoni has inspired many young female artists to join the music industry.
