rapper and actor 50cent has become richer after the value of bitcoin
skyrocketed in the recent months.
The rapper took a chance at bitcoin even
before most people knew what crypto currency is all about. In 2014, the rapper
was quick to accept bitcoin in his album called “Animal Ambition” and at that
time, it was valued at $662 per bitcoin as his payment for the album.
According
to sources, “Animal Ambition” pulled in 700 bitcoins in sales which is over $400,000 and the crypto currency sat down in his account dormant for years.
Today the
bitcoin value fluctuates between $10k and $12k that means 50cent is likely to
earn between $7million and $8.5 million,
according to TMZ.
