WHO IS ANNET NANDUJJA?
Annet Nandujja popularly known as Nandujja is a Ugandan
dancer, singer and songwriter who is popularly known for performing traditional
Kiganda songs known as Baksimba which is traditional cultural dance for the
Buganda people, tribe who are found in the central part of Uganda.
She started
dancing and singing while still studying in her primary school days and
proceeded to secondary school with high interest in the traditional and
cultural dances.
Annet Nandujja is known
for her traditional performances and singing and she has been invited in high
profile occasions like Independence, Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
that was held in Kampala Uganda graced by the Queen of England where she
performed.
She has been performing with
a dance group called the Kika Troupe that she joined immediately after finishing
secondary school and they have been performing in various functions like
weddings and graduation parties, introductions and more.
Annet Nandujja has
been able to get endorsements from different companies and advertising deals as
a result of her excellent dancing skills.
