Recently a very close circle of my female friends and I were having a very heated debate about guess what, women.
The big elephant in the room was why do women love the game of playing hard to get during the course of dating.
From our interesting and long discussion that we had, we were able to come up with some interesting reasons why women love to play hard to get.
Today, I would like to share with you some of the reasons why women play hard to get.
Playing hard to get simply means that they don't give in easily to a suitor when asked out for a relationship.Any way, here are the reasons:-
1.Some women have been hurt before and don't want to be hurt again.
One of the genuine reasons why some women have been playing hard to get is simply that they have kissed frogs before.
This literally means that these women have been disappointed before in relationships.
They have been in relationships with women who later dumped them and left them heart broken.
For such heart broken women, it is very difficult for them to end up in a new relationship again.
When a new suitor comes their way, it is not easy to convince them that he truly loves them for who they are.
2.Women do not want to appear like sluts.
Truth be told, one of the sole reasons why women play hard to get is that they do not want to be called a slut.
That terrible word haunts many women and they are afraid to be labelled like that.
In this case, women fear that when they give in easily to the advances of a man then they will be called a prostitute.
And so to avoid that terrible label, they play hard to get.
3.Women are testing the man in question.
In some instances when women play hard to get, they are trying to figure out how much this man who is running after them loves them.
To truly test this man to see if he will hang in there when things get tough, they turn down his advances.
A man who persists and keeps approaching her will most likely win her heart.
A man who gives up easily will then be a weak candidate for a husband for this woman.
