Recently we have been bombarded by the advancements in Artificial Intelligence technology.
A company called Open AI released it's versions of the chatbot technology.
We also saw Google release it's version of chatbot that they called Google bard.
But it was way behind Open AI's ChatGPT whose abilities to perform tasks has been ranked highly.
Now it has been predicted that this technology of chatbot could easily replace search engines as we know them today.
Take a situation where these personal virtual assistants could in future have the ability to read articles online that users are not interested in reading.
This could change the behaviours of users and in the long run make search engines irrelevant.
Chatgpt uses the natural language processing technology where the words in a sentence are easily detected by the model and therefore it is able to predict the next word to be typed.
Chatgpt has various abilities and among these are writing articles, creating and editing images and also being able to answer questions that have been asked.
So the question is, will these new AI technology replace search engines and shopping. We are yet to see.
Good luck.
