Most people out there believe that in order to make it big in life, you need to do something big or something extraordinary.
But that is not true and truth betold, you can take small steps that can later make very big changes in your life.
For example if you have been addicted to smoking for along time, smoking one cigarette less than the number that you have been smoking everyday looks to be a very small change in your life but it will go along to help you quit smoking.
This one cigarette that you missed should be celebrated.
Unfortunately, the society that we live in doesnot celebrate small steps contrary to this, it believes that things should happen fast.
People are looking for the fastest way to get to the top, quickest way to lose weight.
If we as a society could just start celebrating the small milestones that the people around us make, it would encourage these people who are trying to change their lives not to give up but keep moving forward and achieve what their heart desires.
These small steps are like bricks that make the foundation for a strong building.
So when a wealthy man who writes his first cheque to a charity organization that helps orphans does it, he needs to applauded.
So when a drunkard who has been drinking 10 bottles of beer in a day, starts drinking only 8 bottles a day. He deserves to be congratulated.
When a man who has been squandering all his earnings after receiving his payment saves his first $100,he needs to be applauded and praised.
When a man who fights with his wife daily decides to sit down with her and they discuss their issues and find solutions to their problems, this man deserves a glass of juice for celebration.
Therefore if we can embrace the small steps that we take and encourage the people who take these steps to keep going, we'll make progress in our lives. Good luck.
