Popular Ugandan athlete Joshua Cheptegei has shocked the world of athletics by setting a new world record during the 500m race at the Diamond League that took place in Monaco.



The Ugandan runner broke the record of Ethiopian runner Kenenisa Bekele by 9 seconds setting a new world record at 12:35:36 in the city of Monaco.
