Have you ever bothered to find out what you love especially the kind of foods that you love eating, the places that you love travelling to and also the people in your life that you love spending time with.
What method or strategy do you use to find out the things that you love and the ones that you do not love?
How do you even know that you actually do not love your job?
Do you believe that you believe that when you are paid less then it actually means that you do not love your job or does it mean that when you are highly paid then it means that you actually love your job?
Do you equate your love for your job to the amount of money that you are able to put into your pocket or bank account?
I have come across many people who earn lots of money but they are very unhappy at their work places and can't wait for the time for them to checkout to come and i have also come across people who earn peanuts but they are very much in love with their work and would love to keep doing.
In my own opinion one of the ways that you can be able to find out what you love is by doing what i would called self-study.
For example if you would love to find out whether you love eating roasted potatoes, bite some pieces and see how it feels when you are munching it away within your mouth.
If it tastes good, you will most likely ask for more or next time you will come back to the same restaurant where you had it and order for more roasted potatoes. How do you know that a certain kind of food is sweet or sour?
The only way to find this out is by tasting the food and then you can conclude whether it is sweet or sour or whether you actually love it or not.
This strategy that i have outlined can also be called self-experimentation or trying things out to find out if they are actually good for you or not.
What if you could transfer this strategy of self-experimentation to other areas in your life? Finding the jobs you love or careers that you would love to pursue or the relationships that you would love to build or the partners you would love to have in your life.
You could try out different careers to find out what will really work very well for you in your life.
One way is by immersing yourself into that career through taking up internships to find out if what you are actually doing there is what you would love to take on as a career.
If you discover that you do not like that kind of work, the best thing to do is to walk away and continuing seeking for new career opportunities out there.
The way you could apply this strategy to your relationships is by dating some women and finding out if you actually love spending time with them or not.
You could off script try to experiment the different ways and find out if you love this person or you are just bored around them.
The truth is that when you go off script, some people will think that you have gone crazy or insane. Do not be put down by them just keep experimenting and finding out the things that do make you happy.
Why should you sacrifice your happiness for people who actually do not care about you but only want to put you down because they, themselves are not feeling any good in their own skin.
Forget about them and think about your happiness first.
