What would you prefer between comfort and growth?
If you have a job where you are earning some good amount of money would you wish to stay in that job for as long as you can or you would be willing to quit that high paying job so that you can be able to start your own business?
If you choose to stay at your high paying job then it means that you are choosing the comfortzone which is your job but if you are willing to quit and leave your job so that you can be able to start your own business from scratch then it simply means that you are embracing the path of growth and willing to grow out of your comfortzone which is your high paying job.
Most people in the world choose the comfortzone, they would prefer staying in their high paying job even if the job they are doing is not actually interesting to them but they keep doing it because it does pay the bills out there.
But staying in the comfortzone might not be the most comfortable or secure thing to do since the comfort you seek might actually become uncomfortable in the long run.
Take an example if you got fired from your job the comfort you thought you were in just disappears in thin air.
That is when the reality hits you that actually you were not comfortable, the comfort you sought in your job doesnot actually exist in any way.
In the world that we live in change is a permanent factor that will always happen and you will need to be able to learn to change according to the changing circumstances if you are going to progress in life.
If you had instead started your own business venture, you would still be running it since no one can actually fire you from it.
Even if the business fails, you can still rebuild it but with a job loss you will be back on streets in the hunt for the next opportunity that can be availed for you.
When you are in search of a job, you do not have enough control of your life or future since your employer determines whether you can have the job or not but with business, the opportunities are out there and you will need to make the decision to choose the business idea or opportunity that you would love to work on.
When you are in the path of growth, you will discover that you are in driving seat of your life.
You choose the path that you want your life to take and you decide where you want to go and no one else. If you enjoy taking charge of your life, then living a life full of growth challenges will make you more happy even if you encounter failures and heart breaks along the way.
Taking the path of growth might feel challenging and most people are afraid to take that path but then in the long run it will be the something that you will be grateful for.
Will you choose comfort over growth? Choose what is good for now or choose something that will be exciting for the long term?
Most people will despise you for leaving your high paying job, call you crazy but just follow your heart and intuition. In the long run you will realize that it is the best decision that you made for your life.
