Mukami Mwendo who is popularly known as Nadia Mukami is a Kenyan female music artist, singer and songwriter who came into the limelight after she released her hit song called Kesi which was actually able to get alot of massive airplay on the airwaves around the country.
Nadia Mukami was born in Nairobi which is the capital city of Kenya, the East African country. Nadia Mukami went to Kari primary school which found in Nairobi.
After completing her primary school education, she joined Mount Laverna School for her secondary school education.
After completing her secondary school education, she proceeded to University and was able to enroll at Maseno University where she was pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration specialising in Finance.
While at University she decided to take up a job at Equator FM which is actually radio station that was found at the campus of her University.
She used to host a show called the Saturday hiphop Count that would be airing on Saturdays. Nadia later left the media industry to start a career in the music industry.
She kicked off her career by recording her first song which is called Narudi which talks about the situation of prodigal lover.
Nadia loves exploring music and her style involves smooth sounds from Urban where she actually fuses poetry with afropop.
Since the time she was in highschool, Nadia has been a poet doing poetry and also rhymes which have actually helped influence your music.
She started gaining interest in music while she was just seventeen years old and was inspired by her father who actually loved listening to Taraab music and also he loved listening to songs done by Tanzanian singer Ray C.
After two years into her music career, Nadia was able to sign a recording contract with a record label Hailemind Entertainment and has been able to release some great hit songs since then.
Nadia Mukami has been able to release hit songs like African lover, Si Rahisi, Barua Ya Siri, Kesi among other songs that she has been able to do.
Nadia Mukami has been able to perform at various festivals and some of these festivals are The Luo festival, The Nile festival and safaricom as well.
Nadia Mukami is an inspiration to all the youths out there most especially the girls out there who are planning to join the entertainment industry most especially the music industry.
