Joseph Kabuuleta is a Ugandan politician, sports analyst, author, pastor and the founder of Watchman Ministries which is located in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.
He has also worked as a radio host and sports scribe with various media houses in Uganda. Joseph Kabuuleta was born on the 17th of March in the year 1972 in Kampala at the hospital called Nsambya hospital.
He was born to a Ugandan father and a Kenyan mother and was the nineth of his other 12 siblings in his family.
His mother Kikuyu who hails from Kenya and was born in the year 1942 while his father who is called Jackson Kabuleeta Senior was a Munyoro by tribe who actually came from Hoima district found in Uganda.
The parents of Joseph Kabuuleta met back in the year 1960 at the time when his father was working at the East African Community as an accountant.
Joseph Kabuuleta attended Buganda road primary school for one year and was later transfered to a Catholic Boarding school which is called Namilyango Junior Boarding school where he was able to complete his primary school education back in the year 1984.
After completing his primary school education, in the year 1985 Joseph Kabuuleta joined Namilyango College where he attained his Ordinary level of Education and was also able to complete his Advanced level of Education.
While at A'level, he decided to choose a science combination simply because at the time sciences were looked at as more prestigious than the arts combinations.
Since he was not good at sciences, he was therefore not able to get the grades that would take him to University to pursue a degree and had to settle for a diploma in Civil Engineering at Elgon Technical College which is found in Mbale between the years 1991 to the year 1993.
After completing his diploma, started working as an Engineer at construction sites until he was able to change course and started writing articles for The Crusader from the year 1998 up to the year 1999 as a columnist and also a sports reporter.
After those two years he landed a job with The Newvision publishing company where he has been writing until the year 2009.
He has been able to cover several sports events like the 2010 World Cup that did take place in South Africa, he was also the head of the Uganda Sports Press Association between the year 2003 and the year 2007 and he has actually been given credit for making USPA gala as one of the most anticipated events on the sports calender in the year.
In the year 2012, Joseph Kabuuleta alongside Mark Ssali and another sports enthusiast called John Kusolo started hosting a show called Sport On that was airing on WBS television which is no longer operating now.
Since the year 1992, Joseph Kabuuleta has been a christian and has also been involved in many outreach ministries out there.
In the year 2014, Joseph Kabuuleta started hosting a rado talk show that was about bible prophecy and also focused more on the end times and the show gained popularity and he then decided to start the Watch Man Ministries where he is focusing on the end times and the events that are currently happening in the world.
Joseph Kabuuleta was heavily criticised for kissing the shoes of Prophet Elvis Mbonye when he attended the celebration that was held to honor the prophet.
Many people looked at it as an act of worshipping man. But Kabuuleta said that he doesnot regret his actions and had to honour his spiritual father.
He has also been known for making Facebook posts that are criticising the NRM government that he has tittled as Joseph Kabuuleta Weekly Rants.
He has been criticising the government for promoting corruption, gross mismanagement of resources and also some operations that actually undermine the prosperity of Ugandans.
He has also expressed interest for contesting in the 2021 Presidential elections and challenge President Yoweri Museveni of NRM political party.Joseph Kabuleeta is married and has two children from his first marriage and then one child from his current marriage.
He has a strong love and passion for sports especially soccer and is a strong supporter of Bayern Munich Football Club found in Germany and also Middlesbrough Football Club found in England.
On the local scene he is an avid supporter of Sports Club Villa. Joseph Kabuleeta is an inspiration to all the youths out there most especially boys who would love to join the media industry and also the political scene.
