NIGERIAN WRITER CHIMANDA ADICHIE HAS REVEALED THAT SHE ONCE HAD A CRUSH ON MICHEAL ESSIEN

Popular Nigerian novelist and writer Chimanda Adichie has said that he once had a crush on Ghanian footballer Micheal Essien.



She revealed this when she wrote an introduction for a picture book called Africa? The Future of Football  and it is authored by Pall Stefansson.

The talented writer said that Nigeria was absent in the tournament and her attention was caught by the Ghanaian football team and she became "Ghanian".

She also added that she was overjoyed watching the Nigerian Dream team win gold at the 1996 summer Olympics in Atlanta  in the United States.
