Angella Franklin Keihongani Katatumba who is popularly known as Angella Katatumba is a Ugandan music artist, singer and songwriter who was born on the 21st of February in Nairobi which is the capital city of Kenya.
Angela Katatumba was born in the family of the late Boney Katatumba and Getrude Katatumba who is the proprietor of AFK Beauty Clinic which is based in Kalangala.
Her father Boney Katatumba was the Honory consul of Pakistan.
Angela Katatumba has siblings and among these are a sister and also other seven brothers among whom are Ian, Ken and Jay among others. Angela Katatumba attended Katatumba Academy for her primary school education from the year 1986 to the year 1994 before proceeding to secondary school.
After completing her primary school education, Angela Katatumba joined Belmont Senior Secondary School. Angela Katatumba successfully completed her highschool education with a diploma in Public Relations.
Angela Katatumba later proceeded to Oxford Brookes University which is found in England where she was pursuing a Bachelors degree in Economics and Law from the year 1996 to the year 1999.
After successfully graduating from Brookes University with a degreem she enrolled for a Masters degree in International Management and Public relations from the year 1999 to the year 2000.
After completing her University education in England, Angela Katatumba decided to move to Chicago in Illinois in the United States where she worked at several jobs most especially in the hospitality industry.
Some of the places that she worked at are Buca Di Beppo restaurant from the year 2001 to the year 2002, Isaac Hayes restaurant from the year 2002 to the year 2003 found in Chicago, and she also worked at Majestic star Casino from the year 2003 to the year 2004 where she was earning about $100,000 dollars every year including the bonuses.
In the 2005, Angela Katatumba decided to move back to Uganda and while here, she started working at Hotel Diplomate which was being owned by her father Boney Katatumba at the time and she is currently the managing director of Hotel Diplomate.
In the same year, Angela Katatumba also started recording music professionally and has been able to record about three albums. Angela Katatumba has been doing her music in English and has made it a priority.
She has always wanted to capture the global market and also because she was brought up in the western countries.
Her first album was called Peace and in that album, she released songs like For you Gulu, Peace, I live for you, Sikyettaga, and many others.
She later released her second album which she called Glad Iam Alive which is actually an album that has ten tracks and some of the songs on this album which are Feel alright, Thank you, Pledge, Without you, Forgiveness, Ngenze Noono and many others out there.
The third album which she recorded is tittled Supernatural Girl which has songs like Let's Go Green, Only you, So close and many others out there.
Angela Katatumba is an inspiration to the youths out there most especially the girls out there who would like to join the entertainment industry but most importantly the music industry.
